I think you can get them at Hobby Lobby individually or at WalMart in a set of other charcoal pencils. Glad that you got a set of more colors too. Pastel isn't like cp in that you can't really mix or layer colors to get a new one. You pretty nuch need the color you want to use. Sometimes you can trick the eye into "seeing" a new color by placing other colors side by side.

Pastel pencils are so much fun!Janhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09224954501156534934noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2711383692414444082.post-64860516528733354072009-04-13T14:38:00.000-04:002009-04-13T14:38:00.000-04:00HiI love it. Very nicely done!

They do make a white pastel pencil. Years ago, I used Bruynzeel (I think that's how you spell it) pencils. I liked the texture of the pastel, but I have no idea if they still make them or if they're the same. There are so many new products out, I'm sure you can find something that will fill the bill!Laure Ferlitahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14966163843633158039noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2711383692414444082.post-20399891909293686962009-04-05T23:33:00.000-04:002009-04-05T23:33:00.000-04:00I think you did a good job, it's difficult startin...I think you did a good job, it's difficult starting with a new medium....I personally find it rather frustrating...look forward to see how you progress with these!ArtistUnpluggedhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13580512807760805224noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2711383692414444082.post-46729493534769268342009-04-05T14:28:00.000-04:002009-04-05T14:28:00.000-04:00Thanks for sharing that info about pastel pencils ...Thanks for sharing that info about pastel pencils cuz I don't like the big chalk for details either.

The acorn looks wonderful.Terihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16029722057577018059noreply@blogger.com
